1. Product Overview
TDG & THG series high-efficiency bucket elevators are upgraded optimized models of traditional TD/TH belt & chain bucket elevators. They are vertical continuous conveying equipment for bulk granular, powdery and small lump materials, with advantages of large capacity, high lifting height, stable operation, low energy consumption, good sealing and long service life.
· TDG: Belt-driven type (EP rubber belt / steel cord belt as traction component)
· THG: Chain-driven type (high-strength ring chain as traction component)

3. Working Principle
The whole machine runs in closed circulation. Material enters the bottom inlet, scooped by rotating buckets; buckets lift materials vertically to the head drive section.
· TDG: Under centrifugal force, materials are thrown out into discharge chute (centrifugal discharge).
· THG: Under gravity & composite force, materials smoothly discharge (gravity mixed discharge).Empty buckets return to the bottom section cyclically to complete continuous vertical lifting conveying.
4. Main Structure Composition
Complete set consists of head section, middle casings, bottom section, running parts (belt/chain + buckets), drive unit, tension device & safety protection devices.
1. Head Section: Drive pulley/sprocket, discharge outlet, vertical shaft hard gear reducer, backstop, anti-reverse mechanism.
2. Middle Casing: Fully sealed sectional steel casing, dust-proof, with inspection access doors, reinforced frame structure.
3. Bottom Section: Feed inlet, tail pulley/sprocket, automatic weight tensioning device, anti-deviation sensor, material level detector.
4. Running Components
o TDG: High-strength EP heat-resistant belt, firmly fixed buckets.
o THG: Heavy-duty ring chain, high-load bucket mounting structure.
5. Drive System: Motor + hard tooth surface gearbox + fluid coupling, soft start, compact transmission, low vibration.
6. Safety Devices: Belt/chain deviation alarm, overspeed protection, backstop (prevent reverse falling), material level interlock control.
5. Bucket Types & Application
Two optimized bucket series for different working conditions:
· AH/AD Deep Bucket: Suitable for dry, loose, good-flow materials (cement, coal, gravel, grain, powder). Centrifugal discharge preferred.
· BH/BD Medium-deep Bucket: Suitable for slightly moist, poor-flow, slightly viscous materials (sand, fertilizer, chemical powder, aggregate). Mixed/gravity discharge preferred.

10. Operation & Maintenance Notes
1. No overload feeding at initial start-up; prevent material blocking at bottom inlet.
2. Regularly check belt/chain tension, bucket fastening, abrasion of wearing parts.
3. Keep internal casing clean, avoid residual material accumulation causing jamming.
4. Lubricate reducer and bearing regularly per maintenance manual.
5. Ensure all safety protection devices are intact and valid during operation.
