Product Overview

Scraper conveyor, also commonly known as scraper conveyor chute, is a continuous conveying equipment that uses a chain-driven scraper to drag or push bulk materials along a trough (open or closed) from the feeding point to the discharge point. It is mainly composed of three core parts: head section, middle section and tail section, with auxiliary components such as hydraulic jacks and chain tensioners for stable operation. Unlike screw conveyors, it is especially suitable for conveying abrasive, high-temperature, wet or sticky materials that are difficult for belt conveyors to handle, and can realize horizontal, inclined and multi-point feeding/discharging operations. With the advantages of solid structure, strong adaptability and stable operation, it is widely used in mining, coal, chemical, electric power and other industries, and is an indispensable key equipment in comprehensive mechanized coal mining workfaces.

Features

  • Solid and Durable Structure: The whole machine is made of high-strength steel, which can withstand the impact, collision and extrusion of bulk materials such as coal and gangue, and has strong resistance to wear and corrosion, suitable for harsh industrial working environments.

  • Strong Material Adaptability: It can efficiently convey powdery, granular, small lumpy materials, as well as abrasive, high-temperature (up to 180℃), wet and sticky materials that are not suitable for belt conveyors, solving the problem of difficult conveying of special materials.

  • Flexible Conveying Performance: It can realize horizontal conveying and inclined conveying; when conveying upward, the inclination angle shall not exceed 25°, and when conveying downward, it shall not exceed 20°; it can also realize multi-point feeding and multi-point discharging without additional equipment, adapting to complex process layout requirements.

  • Compact and Space-Saving: The body is low in height and compact in structure, which is convenient for installation in narrow spaces such as workshops and mine workfaces; it can also be used as the running track of shearers, integrating conveying and supporting functions, improving space utilization.

  • Stable and Reliable Operation: The transmission system adopts motor + reducer drive, with stable power output and low failure rate; the chain tension adjustment device ensures the smooth operation of the scraper chain, avoiding chain dropping and chain jumping problems, and ensuring long-term continuous operation.

  • Two Structural Types Optional: Single-chain and double-chain types are available. Single-chain scraper conveyor has simple structure, flexible operation and uniform chain force, suitable for small conveying capacity; double-chain scraper conveyor has large material passing space and strong conveying capacity, suitable for large-scale bulk material conveying.

 Applications

  • Coal Mining Industry: It is the core conveying equipment in coal mine working faces, used for conveying coal, gangue and other materials, and is one of the "three major machines" in fully mechanized coal mining working faces, which directly affects the normal operation of the working face.

  • Metallurgical and Mining Industry: Conveying ore, ore powder, coke and other materials in metal mines and smelters, adapting to the harsh working environment with high dust and large material impact.

  • Chemical Industry: Conveying chemical raw materials, fertilizers, lime, flue dust and other powdery or granular materials; special wet scraper conveyors can be used to convey bottom ash and slag, with strong corrosion resistance adaptability.
